Leaseweb has a strong hardware and engineering culture and had developed well as a company focussing on those core competencies. The downside to that focus of course is that some of the softer areas like visual design, brand image and user experience really needed to be developed in order to bring the company to the next level.
A rebranding project was already under way but the company was struggling to make the key decisions and bring the project in to land.
Renewing all the digital assets gave a perfect opportunity to facilitate/force the key decisions and get some runs on the board in order to move the overall project forward and execute it throughout the rest of the organization.
